    That is ok Matt... as I have demonstrated it is hard to proof your own work... my test is to have a manage follow the work instruction... IF they can then anyone can ;)... bet you do not find it hard to believe I have been written up for gross insubordination by a navy captain (president of XKD)  or that I convinced him that it was not in the best interest of the company to dismiss me... ;) and was given a raise! Protocols are the one thing the FDA gets right... (whereas they are blind most everywhere else)!

    Please help! I can download my workouts, but don't see street view. I tried this fix to help and got to step 14...'cleaning of files 100% complete, but then nothing happened. I then also did an android reboot, but nothing seemed to change. I still don't see street view. I tried calling the support line, but just sat on hold for over 30min wasting precious cell phone minutes. How do I use street view?!?

    @Michelle: Our support staff had an issue with the software that they use for the phones. They are working now. I would suggest to run the software again as it may have gotten hung up.

    No luck. Same thing happened. Got "cleaning of Ifit files complete - downloading new application - 100% complete", but then nothing. I have a performance 1450 treadmill.

    ok so i reinstalled the ifit application for the 3rd time

    i got the create your own map to save but when i saved it deleted the ones that were in there (cape town / montrey bay)  only my custom one appears in my login

    why would it delete the other ones??

    is that normal?

     

    those maps still are available on the other users logins on the machine and are there if you logout

     

    im going to try the streetview next

    @Kevin: Those are demo maps that are there for you if you don't have any maps in your schedule, or aren't logged into iFit. That is an expected function.

    ok in that case it seems to be working now - has the application been updated recently? the previous 2 times i followed the exact same steps to reinstall the ifit application but still had issues

    im wondering if it will reoccur when i use streetview more and the cache gets full - does the cache cleanout by its self now?

    @Kevin: Yes it will continue to clear the cache at smooth rate to allow your StreetView to function correctly long term.

    @Matt, I tried the street view fix for the 3rd time today and got the same result. Nothing happened after reaching 100% complete for step 14. Any suggestions?

    @Michelle: If you go to your maintenance screen, it will show you your app version. Could you please respond with that? I will then give you my suggestion.

    I can't even get to a page that will let me try to download the patch that I was sent because as it keeps going to a blank screen then back to the grass page. Or is says system must force close. Is there some way that I can take ifit off this treadmill so that I have a treadmill instead of a computer that doesn't work? There is a reason why Apple is more popular than android and I think I agree.

    i did this on my nordictrack 1750 however ifit app has gone complete and takes long time to load, it doesnt even recognize wifi  show lots of "process system error" and is really slow,

    @Michelle: Your machine isn't compatible with these instructions. However, I am working on resolving an issue with your machine and StreetView. We should have it fixed very soon.

    I have an X9i and have the white screen problem on street view.  Tried to download the url ** http://bit.ly/ifithelp but my android on the treadmill says use exact url and will not download, have tried numerous times with no luck.  What am I doing wrong.

    well finally i talk by phone support that was ok , however what they are going to send me is a SD card to reprogram my device, ( that was broken by this solution)  this will take 4 to 7 Weeks!!!! im going to miss almost 2 months of my ifit suscription, and thats not the worse, i do really believe that  you can put the SD content somewhere, i can download put  a blanck sd card and have it fixed, because other thing that i was told , is that by myself i have to open de device find the tablet sd card slot and set it up again, i just would like to be more efficient , im ok to do it by myself , i understand that sometimes systems crash, but come on put the SD card content in some place where i can take it, its really anoying that in first place street maps dont work propperly and with this solution things come worse, sorry my bad english but im really upset and frustrated,

    I also am having the exact same issues as Michelle with my treadmill. same firmware #.ETPF14511      2.8.10

    I was even sent a replacement console which I installed today and tried the download a couple time to no avail, which I now see won't work anyways.

    Can you keep me in this loop for a fix asap.

    yes I quite agree... the fix should be something downloadable to a keydrive... and bootable from usb... luckly I have no issue at this time other that the chest strap HR is not displayed by the machine.. probably a software issue...  have all your better programmers been poached by Google and amazon?

    Michelle Goetsch, I too am having the same exact problem as you.  Mine is with a Freemotion 770 treadmill.  My symptopms and firmware version are identical to yours.  And the recommendation to clean the system renders the same results as yours..."cleaning of Ifit files complete - downloading new application - 100% complete" does nothing; does not move to the next screen; does not download any files.  After waiting overnight, I reset the treadmill.  Very frustrating as I was told 2 weeks ago that the known bug fix would be resolved in 1 week.  And I wait...

    The version on my FM T6.0 with no issues (other than chest strap display) is: 3.0.1205.2... this in what I updated to last month before applying the fix... I suggest (and sent this in Private email to Ifit, freemotion, Icon,  etc...maintenance/settings: confirm: street view is set to on... , auto-update is set to on,  update time is set to 1am (default) then leave machine on overnight... then be ready to reset the wifi connection... (probably will be wiped out by the firmware update... then apply the fix using the new (corrected) instruction...  then life should be good ;)

    I too am having this issue.  The "fix" is not working (tried multiple times).  And tech support is slow walking me with a solution.  We pay a lot of money for this service for this not to function.

    Matt - please HELP!!!!!!!  I have a 2950 with no available firmware updates, and street view continues to freeze.  I have attempted to follow the instructions above, however the download never completes.  I now have 4 little download symbols in the upper left hand corner of my browser that I do not know how to get rid of.

    I have been following this thread for a few months now and was hopeful that the last firmware update would fix things.  Street view still froze, but only when I repeated old workouts.  I created a new map-based workout and it seemed to be working.  I thought the problem was solved.

    But....no such luck!

    Those maps eventually froze too - I generally get no more than a mile or 2 into them.

    2 observations:

    1.  If I repeat an old workout, street view freezes in the exact same place EVERY time.

    2.  Street view does NOT freeze when I use the workout of the day, when I am NOT logged in.  So, being logged in seems to have an impact.

    Please help Matt!!  This is super disappointing and I really am relying on street view to work - it was one of the main reasons I bought this particular treadmill.

    For all users with the Legacy Version (2.8.10) firmware, you should be able to use StreetView without any issues.

    The message I received yesterday from Matt Evans regarding the StreetView fix for Legacy Version 2.8.10 DOESN'T WORK.  This is the same "fix" that I've tried multiple times over the past month with the same results.  I get all the way to the "Cleaning of iFit files complete" screen with "Downloading New Application" and a 100% progress bar and then nothing!  My last attempt last night got to this screen at approximately 8:30 p.m. MST.  When I checked my treadmill this morning at 5:00 a.m. MST, the screen was still at the same point.  What iFit is suggesting to users that have problems with StreetView is Einstein's definition of insanity...Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different reuslts.

    Matt has been correct on one point...Legacy 2.8.10 firmware users SHOULD be able to use StreetView without any issues.  The problem is WE CAN'T!

    Please come up with a fix!

    My StreetView did work actually yesterday with 2.8.10 for the first time in a long time without trying any sort of 'fix'. I did reboot the android system though, because I was having issues logging in at first. Hope this keeps up!

    Richard... I wish you best of luck (I do not work 4 ifit)... often a few reboots is all it takes... with confirming you still have wifi each time!... Einstein was a smart guy IQ 150 (perhaps he dialed it back after encountering how Normal people treat smart people... so glad I am not normal: (Fat and stupid )...  Einstein had problems with quantum mech (even though he made some of the initial findings... and then he kept telling God what to do... when you do the same thing over... you adapt ... and the results change... So is the earth still flat?
