Get Started With the iFit Act


This article covers initial setup for the iFit Act and a few features to get you started.

Pair Your Act to the App 

  1. Download iFit Coach from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. If you’re an existing iFit member, simply log in like normal (either with Facebook or your email/username and password). If you’re new to iFit, click Join to create an account and enter the required information.
  3. Then, follow the instructions to fill out your profile. (For members, your information may already be saved from your account, so you’ll just need to verify that everything is correct.)
  4. After you’ve filled out or verified your profile, you’ll come to a screen where you’ll select your wearable. Swipe to the right until you see the Act, then tap the image to select.
  5. On your Act, press the center button until you reach the red light, then hold it down for 3 seconds. This will put your Act in sync mode.
  6. Back on the app, you should see your Act (and its pairing number) appear. Tap Connect to pair. (It’s important that Bluetooth® is enabled on your phone, and your Act and phone are close to one another.)
  7. If successful, you’ll see a message that says “You’re connected!”
  8. Once paired, you can sync your stats to the app anytime. 

Sync Mode

Your Act needs to be in sync mode any time you want to sync your stats to the app. Here’s how:

    1. Press the center button until you reach the red light, then hold the button down for 3 seconds (or until the light starts blinking).
    2. Then, pull down on the Home screen in the app to sync.

We recommend syncing often so that your account is always up-to-date!

Sleep Mode

To track your sleep at night, you’ll need to put your Act in sleep mode. Here’s how:

To start:

Press the center button until you reach the blue light, then hold the button down for 3 seconds. The light will blink a few times, indicating you’re in sleep mode.

To end:

Press the center button once. You should see the blue light start to blink again. While the light is still blinking, press and hold the button down for 3 seconds (or until the light stops blinking).

Workout Mode

If you want to record a workout, make sure you’re in workout mode. Here’s how:

To start:

Press the center button until you reach the amber (orange-yellow) light, then hold the button down for 3 seconds. The light will blink a few times, indicating you’re in workout mode.

To end:

Press the center button once. You should see the amber light start to blink again. While the light is still blinking, press and hold the button down for 3 seconds (or until the light stops blinking).
